2005 Avanti Manic (Medium) - SOLD!!! Please Delete

Item: Avanti Manic, 2005, Medium

Location: Albury, New South Wales

Item Condition: Bike is in great condition. There are a number of small cosmetic scratches, there is a bit of cable rub which occurred before I managed to get some tape onto the frame and only one substantial scratch, on the downtube (see pic), from a shuttle run.

Reason for Selling: Bike is too small and no longer used.

Price and Price Conditions: $700 ono. Flexible on Price. Willing to post but have not researched on freight costs.

Extra Info on Condition/Spec:
- There is no plastic window on the rear gear shifter.
- Brake pads are at 60-70% and work great.
- Maxxis Minions, 60-70% left in tread.
- Dirt Jumper III forks would suit a rider up to 80kg with current springs.
- Plastic rim on the back of the saddle is loose on the left hand side.
- Small scratches on rims are from Tyre Levers (Kenda tires are a nightmare to get off).
- The Medium size frame would suit someone 6 foot or under.

This bike is designed to handle anything you can throw at it. I have only ever crashed it once and that resulted in the plastic window of the shifter coming off. I have raced this bike once and it was fine, otherwise it has not been abused at all. Has not been jumped, although it is very capable of jumping, it’s current rider is not!

This bike has not been ridden since November 2007. The Manic is very solidly built and is a fast bike when pointed down, a stable bike in the air, but is a pig to ride up steep hills. Pop the seat up and it is alright for general Trail Riding too.
