    OLD POST:

Well I thought i might as well post some pics up to see what you guys think of my new bike...

The frame is so chunky and its still pretty light... (14.something kilos)
I bought it off Ebay a few weeks back. It's in really good condition and is only 1 or 2 noticable scratches...
I think i need to shorten the front brake cable because its pretty long at the moment and is zip tied to the forks (its not running throught the cable guide thing on the back of the forks either)... Is this hard to do and will i need any special tools or anything??

    cheers

Nice, all you need to do about the front brake cable is cut the cable tie off and press the cable in to the cable guide at the back of the forks.

    Thanks mate...
The only thing that annoyed me with the bike was the wanker who sold it to me didnt even clean it and it came out of the box covered in mud... i know it doesnt matter and i've cleaned it up good now but you would think a seller would at least clean the bike before he sells it wouldnt you...

I don't think it would kill you to clean it especially if you got it for $1100 but yes usually when you buy second hand bikes the previous owner usually gives it a clean. Anyway I think he might have secure the front brake cable with a zip tie because it might be a bit more secure. When I had some Dirt Jam Pros they cable occasionally came out of it.

    Anyway nice bike...really like it
