News from my sources. Unfortunately Steve Smith farked his knee in practice and wont be racing!

EDIT Just confirmed by transcend... There has been a few casualties this week. Canadian Cove Redbull Rider Steve Smith, who is coming off of 2 fantastic weeks of racing, has managed to hurt his knee sticking out his leg in a corner. It was diagnosed as a hyperextension and he is on crutches and is hoping to make worlds. Matti Lehikoinen of MS Racing went down hard midway down the course and slid across a metal bridge in the woods. His knee pad slid and he has severe road rash and cuts across his knee and leg. He was taken to hospital in an ambulance for stitches and xrays as the ligaments below his knee were extremely tender.
