    Gutted

Sam or Peaty I would have been ssoo stoked for.

Sick that we get to watch it all live though, and then play it back over and over

    Default Sam 4 P/M

What can we say Samy, you are a truely freakish rider and a true champion. At this level sometimes you need to loose to feel the highs of the next big win. Better luck next time mate. What about Warners commentary, I'm not sure if this guy knows how to speak English ?. One of his qoutes after Sam crashed was "vats all Sam do's". Gotta love that old school English ay guvvna ?

Sam was absolutely going for it, such a pity he crashed on that corner, if he had of pulled her up a little bit he still would've flogged Peaty. Gee Atherton is insane, he's two wheel drifting around that corner roughly half way through. My jaw was on the floor. Looked like he was off the ground the whole way around the corner.

Rachel Atherton's run was very smooth as well, obviously showing the benefits of riding with her older brothers.

    Big ups to Gee.

I had a gut feeling Sam wouldn't nab it this year. Pissed off I didn't get to watch it, stupid girlfriend wanted to go out.....

    Default Sam the man!

He might have been dissapointed about tucking a bronze into his luggage, but anyone who says that his run wasn't absolutely astounding, I will open a cann of whoopass on.
You have to keep it upright to the finish line though.
Big up to the Athertons- they're nice folk- bumped into Gee and Dan riding in Wales a year ago and chatted for a while before noticing all their Animal gear, putting 2 and 2 together..

That Sam is really a class above though- Hope you young guys take on lots of inspiration from his approach and speed.

    A sporting giant.
Bad language doen't make you faster, but it can keep you on the bike:)
