    Ahhh! That is beautiful.

I almost needed a tissue when i saw the Brake/shifter/fork thing combo.

You can be proud of that, truly a work of art.

SRAM are pretty good at that sort of thing.
The mount is called a MatchMaker and is truly clever.
Everything can still be adjusted independently for angle, and left/right placement for the shifter.
It's what Shimano should also do, as you can take everything off the bar with a 4mm allen key.
You don't need to remove grips and slide split mounted brakes/shifters off the bar.

And don't worry, the bike gets dirty! It was cleaned up for the shots!

Yes I wish shimano would do the split shifter and brake attachments, would make a like a whole lot easier.

But WOW your bike is what you call bling. Those wheels........................ they look amazing. That is one very tricked out Trance, congrats.

And yes go and get it dirty, looks showroom clean there.

That is one awesome Giant you have there. I didn't know that matchmaker would incorporate the PopLoc like that, very cool.

Enjoy...although I have no doubt you will!

Hey, thought about PMing you. I've got a silly idea to run just one front ring and a guide (I miss my Tazer!!).
My e13 LG-1 won't fit the frame (downtube bend) and the cranks (middle ring stubs on the spider hit the guide backing plate), so do you know if a Gamut would fit these new fluid formed frames?
Also, I'll have a set of Industry 9 wheels as soon as I can...!

I don't see why the flange mount wouldn't work. I ran one on my Reign XO with no troubles and it was running cranks with granny ring tabs.

All the Gamut guide plates are very adjustable, because you can flip the guide plate giving you more mounting options. Eg. with an ISCG if you flip it, it changes the bolt hole locations which makes it fit a larger number of frames...especially those which don't always fit right within standards. Likewise by flipping the flange mount guide plate one side is recessed, so it allows you to run the guide plate more inboard towards the frame away from granny tabs....but I don't think I ran mine like that on my Reign anyway.

    Hope that makes sense?

Good work thinking about the i9s....its the best time of year with Christmas in July, I mean tax return, hehe. I know I am buying a whole bunch of bling for my ride when I get mine!

    Cheers,

    Ken

The problem with the e13 is that the Taco mount bolts hit the curved downtube (the new frames' downtubes have a bend that puts the tube way lower at the BB than standard straight tubes).
I can remove the Taco, but the cranks (Deus XC) middle ring stubs still hit the backing plate - which I can't do much about. The ISCG adaptor plate only fits one way (I can't flip it or it'll hit the suspension links). If I use the BB spacers to move the guide futher out, then the cranks have less room to fit.
The e13 adapter plate/backing plate is about 11mm thick.
I have about 11mm from BB shell to the middle chainring stubs, so there's absolutely no room for error.
Without those stubs, I'd have about 4mm free, which would be perfect - but the Taco would still hit the frame without a further spacer.
So I need different cranks to get it sorted, which I don't want to do...
As the Gamut guide is somewhat different, I don't believe I'd have clearance issues (though I'm not sure the crank won't be a problem with that, either).
So, more research and a bit more thinking and maybe I'll find an answer.
