Mt Ste Anne DH WC, THIS WEEKEND! 26/27th.

I couldn't find any other threads on this, so please direct me to it if there is one.

Other than that though, who do we think will win the DH on the weekend? The track is said to be worn out already from the Canadian Nationals (I think), and the weather is forecast to be shit all week.

I for one would like Hill to come out and put together a good run and win, just to prove that although he didn't win the worlds, he is still the best.

Top 5 for me are:

1. Hill
2. G. Atherton (class act)
3. Peat (in excellent form)
4. Kovarik (having a strong run coming off his Psychosis victory)
5. Rennie (looks like a track for the big boy... everything blown out, big holes, etc. He should be able to power through with his strength and momentum and not be affected so much by the track condition)

Yep - its pretty soggy here. The bike wash is getting a real workout. They`ve just cancelled today`s scheduled 4X practice due to the rain and track conditions.

And they now just cancelled the 4X qualification for today (Friday) due to track conditions. Looks like it will be re-scheduled for some time Saturday. Lots of boggy sections still remain on the 4X and they have put boards and mesh over the final 3 jumps. here were a few spills in this area early Friday afternoon, including Cedric who gheese-grated an elbow on one.

DHI Schedule has not been affected so far.

. 1900 Finals

I make it to be 0500 sunday morning queensland time for DH, 4X 5 hours later.
