It's that time of year again, with things winding down Cycling Australia are working out who performanced best in each disipline.

Elite Men Mountain Bike (in no particular order)
-Jared Graves
-Sam Hill
-Nathan Rennie

Junior Men Mountain Bike
-Shaun O’Connor
-Rhys Willemse
-Sam Willoughby

Not taking anything away from Graves as he is one of my favourite riders and what he achieved this year was amazing....on a BMX!

Is it really appropriate for him to be number 1 in the MTB standings when he concentrated on BMX this year and only did a handfull of MTB races?

Fair enough, he dominated in the MTB races he did enter (when he didn't get taken out) and probably opened up a lot of people's eyes to MTBing through his performances in Beijing but does that really make him the number 1 MTB Cyclist of the year? Hmmm....

Yes true enough, his name is retarded... BUT he is a good BMX rider.
And we all know that Nathan Rennie or Jared Graves will win it because Queenslanders are cool, and Western Australians suck things that most men don't
