With 48 places to ride proper trails all over this wide brown land (and a bit of Kiwi action). This special edition should find a permanant place in your glove box.

Stuff that intay stocking!

hey when was this released because i was looking in the newsagency and i could only find the old amd with the dec/jan issue ????
are you reffering to the feb/march one or is it a completely different one cheers
It's a great idea to compile all the "Places That Rock" into one magazine, unfortunately it has come a little late for me having just carted a bag full of back issues around the country!
Does anyone know if subscribers will be getting this mag in the mail? I saw it in the newsagency this morning but was hesitant to buy it in case mine was already in the post.
Thanks
Both Ed and Sub Ed are on Holiday and hopefully away from the computer so don't expect an answer any time soon. They are appearing in lots of shops now and with the odd postal days in this festive season, I can't imagine the subscriptions being too far away.
But then again I'm not 100% across on the whole subscription thing anyway.
Just got back from a 2 week road/camping trip to SA and picked up this special edition mag on the way. An absolutely AWESOME idea AMB, well done. After 10 days on the road not having much luck finding decent single trails as all were for walkers only, this mag totally saved the trip and we were able to put the bikes to work at a couple of the absolutely amazing mountain bike parks SA have got going. Without this mag in our glove box, we wouldn't have known these trails existed. Well done AMB... Oh yeah, well done to SA. The parks you guys have got going are absolutely brilliant.
Now thinking a trip to NZ is on the cards. The trails sound like heaven!
Well, I guess you better be heading to the South Island only. According to the AMB PTR there are no MTB tracks in the North Island (well, none that rock anyhow) - something that the regular riders from Oz who make the pilgrimage to the Rotorua Redwoods might want to take issue with![]()
Well the Redwoods were pretty well covered not long ago as was the whole Rotorua for the worlds two seasons ago.
Space is limited in mags and NZ only got 5 slots, I'd have love to included more but when it came to the crunch the north had been covered a lot more in recent issues previous ed. Derek Morrison went over there several times.
(there are only 6 mags normally released in a year).
Great to hear Dreamweaver, it's exactly what the mag was made for.

Being a noob who has just started riding in Sydney, this was really really helpful to me. I was actually able to go to a few places by myself and found them easily.
Good work, definitely worthy of my 7 or 8 dollars.
