is there no one out there with a comment
yeah thanks ive been on my friend spare bike wich is a giant glory 2008 model but im thinking of a specialized demo, scott gambler ,mongoose boot'r or norco aline not sure yet but thanks for the reply im not sure on the kona i havent seen one or really looked at them
One of the older glorys are a good bike to start on because they have all good components on the and there are lots of them that are being sold reasonably cheap at the moment
plenty of choices out there in the 2nd hand market in that price range. I vote for a early glory
I would say a glory. There a well priced bike with a good spec list, plenty of second hand ones, easy to get parts for, can take a hit while your still learning and try get a 2010 or newer. Make sure you shop around dont want to get ripped off!
Yeah I think that's the way I'm going toward a glory around the 2010 model I tryed my mates 2011 and found it a lot more responsive compared to the 2008 model and I know the 2010 is the same frame and I could always spec it up anyways.
But it's great to hear from guys in the sport and their points of view.
Another thing guys how hard is it to get trading on this site I have tried to get access about 3 times now?
And all I want to do is buy a bike.
glorys are great for the price. as for trading access it usually takes a while for them to respond, but it pretty easy to get
Everything said in this was spot on.
my first downhill bike was a glory. and its still going strong a year later.
trading access is only needed to post and comment in the for sale thread. while waiting for trading access. just Private message the person involved about the bike.
