2010 Boxxer Race noise

This has probably been posted more than once so sorry to be a pain, I couldn't find much after searching.

I recently went for a ride and noticed that my fork has been making a tapping sound after when it compresses more than twice in a row, so pretty much every repetitive bump. Here's a video I took and the noise is easily audible the whole time.

So what is it?

Thats what I was thinking too, no it's not bottoming out

Best guess anyone is going to have on the internet is that the coil is hitting. Unless someone else has heard the exact same sound and found out what the problem is :p Best bet would be taking it to your preffered suspension guys, or you pull them apart yourself.

Could the Heat-Shrink have moved?

Do you mean what they reffer to as isolators in here:

I doubt they would move, but they could split as such, which could cuase a rubbing when compressing ? is this what you mean?

that link will guide you through a rebuild if you chose to do it yourself (although it is a guide for a Team ). If you do make sure you follow the instructions and remember where bits go, and you can't go wrong!
