Jared Rando had a flat at Davo's drop on his race run..... everyone was shattered :(

Even Rennie had acknowledged that his time wasn't good enough to win then the news came over the PA that Rando had a flat..... Rando still absolutely nailed the finish drop and the wall ride with a totally stuffed back wheel/tyre.... absolutely no holding back. The crowd was going abosolutely nuts.....

Every rider on the podium gave Rando an acknowledgement....

I was super stoked to see Rennie win, coming back from his injury and all, but I was still sad that Rando didn't get to shine.... as he has done so well lately. I'm sure Rando will get revenge at Buller.

I was really proud to hear Rennie say he was going to be proud to wear the green and gold armbands on the WC Tour.... It's about bloody time that business got sorted out. He finally gets to stand proud and be National Champion after all his other titles.
