World distance jump record broken 134ft
On a very cold frozen day in Coed Llandegla Forest in North Wales after a weeks preparation Jason Rennie the holder of the world indoor and outdoor distance MX jump records has added the MTB record. A failed attempt by his Australian name sake Nathan Rennie to beat the current record of 116 ft in the Painted Desert was made in late 2005 but the popular rider crashed at 121ft.
Jason riding a team Kona Stab Supreme in his first attempt past the 116 ft mark and remained on his bike. A few minutes later a second attempt realised his ambition with an outstanding jump of 134 feet.
The attempt was assisted by One Planet Adventure who operate the popular MTB centre and Tilhill the forest owners as well as Paligap the UK Kona importers supported with administrative and technical assistance. Enjoy rather quick movie.

I tried to do a search on him, and found very little, couldnt find a thing on his bike spec at all ? Has anyone else had any luck ?

Is he a Kona Team Rider ? Or was that just a hire bike he got for the weekend ?
