Fantastic! I think we'll uncover some good talent with this. I can't wait!
The original suggestion was great and the prizes are well worthy of a big effort.

Sounds sweet.. But can't we be allowed to make the movies a bit longer? 1 1/2 - 2 mins isn't very long, I'd like to make it alot longer if possible...

You're given the chance to win prizes of great calibre and you're complaining about the length of the video you can submit? One and a half minutes is ample I reckon, if people put a ten minute video in we'll all be twiddling our thumbs waiting for the good bits.
One and a half minutes will give everyone the chance to make their video full of punch.

less is more. keep it short, and leave the crap on the cutting room floor.

90 seconds finished to a high standard is a lot of work. remember, this comp is about quality, not quantity. feel free to release your "extended directors cut" after the comp has finished!!

Should be a great competition, it will hopefully bring out some of Farkin's amatuer film makers. Pitty i can't enter ... I will be judging though.

so i guess olly is on the judging panel, too? bugger...

he better make a video anyway, just for inspiration. im no filmmaker and dont own a video camera, so it will be good to watch how this goes down.
To the centre of the city, where all roads meet, waiting for you.
To the depths of the ocean where all hopes sank, searching for you.
I was moving through the silence without motion, waiting for you.

Rules have been updated, Pros can enter for bragging rights only, they are exempt from winning any major prizes. Judges cannot submit at all.
