    Default Chumba Racing XCL Review

    I was recently lucky enough to spend a few weeks thrashing the Chumba Racing XCL around Brisbane's various XC and DH trails. The two-word verdict? Super fun! For some more in depth analysis of this burly trail bike, click here...

    You could have cleaned it. Having done some time on one, I can vouch for that write-up. It might not climb like a 4" blur, but you'll definitely beat it back down the hill.

    OK, confession time, I didn't clean it because;

    a) I wanted to get maximum riding on it in the short time we had it available, which included a short loop before dropping it back to you guys and
    b) I secretly hoped that Carso would make you clean it, thereby making you my bitch both on the forums and in real life

    you said you were working late... you stood me up for a cross country bike? i had dinner planned and everything...
    To the centre of the city, where all roads meet, waiting for you.
    To the depths of the ocean where all hopes sank, searching for you.
    I was moving through the silence without motion, waiting for you.

    I've ridden this bike a few times, as well as Petey's USA made one and the final verdict is that I am currently working out the spec on my new one...

    Great read! Very well written article and very thorough bike test. I liked the photos too.

    Why can't AMB put that much info into their reviews?

    Hey Farkin people....

    Rather than speak more about the bike. I'm just going to say that if you are interested you should test one for yourself. Our contact details can be found @ www.plushrides.com.au

    For 08 we will be offering a lighter build option for the XCL to suit you trail riders (rp23/ XT/ fox Talas).

    just ride the bike and decide for yourself

    cheers

    Hey Great Review, I was recently looking at moving from my outridden Hardtail to a dualie and I tried a few bikes until I found the XCL, I'm heavier set guy weighting nearly 86kgs and struggled to find a bike that made me confident enough to grow and go faster. While I was looking I found that everyone was so concerned with weight which is fine if your 65kgs ringing wet but not many people are really that aquite. The stiffness of the XCL was second to none, very confidence inspiring. I have since added the XCL to the garage and haven't looked back.
