Whistler, B.C. -
The annual Kokanee Crankworx festival is underway at Whistler, with the dual slalom taking place in inclement weather and producing some surprising results. Aussie contenders Sam Hill and Jared Rando were eliminated early, while slalom/4x specialist Brian Lopes was unusually off the podium. Young American rider JD Swanguen took out the pro men's race, whilst Anneke Beerten stuck it to the rest of the women.
