Monster O/S racing update, NORBA and WC Qualifying

So apparently there's a World Cup downhill being raced on the same weekend as a NORBA...do the UCI and NORBA even talk to each other any more? Hey, let's take 2 series that are already struggling and force the pro field to choose between them. Genius!

Anyway, the WC was held at Les Deux Alpes (the 2 Alps?) in France, results shamelessly pilfered from Stiksandstones.com;

Meanwhile, the 2nd round of the NORBA DH series is getting ready to go down in Snowshoe, West Virginia. It's been pissing down rain and the track is wet, rocky, rooty, slippery and off-camber, sounds like the perfect mixture to me.

Pro DH should kick off late tonight our time and you just know farkin.net will have the results posted mere femtoseconds after the last man crosses the line...keep checking back.
