Aaron Gwin has taken out the men's downhill ahead of Duncan Riffle. Gwin's current form has shown him to be the United States' best chance of a World Cup win and potentially the Worlds crown in Canberra this September. Also notable is ex downhill god (more for his radness than results) Shaun Palmer in 12th just 8 seconds off the pace.
