Am I asking for too much? Forks and Hubs...

Really I'm searching for forks (new, 07 or 08) with these specs:

Travel: 100mm to 130mm. Travel ajust possibly.
Lowers: Magnesium preffered
Steerer: Alloy preferred, Cromo also
Staunchions: Alloy preffered, Cromo also
Ajustibility: Rebound, Air and Oil Weights minimum
Axle: Must be 20mm.
Weight: 2kg to 2.6kg

Not the new 08 'zocchis, hate the pinch bolt crowns... and 4X 1million$?
Not Rockshox Argyles. Ridden them and hated the feel.
Possibly 07/08 Rockshox pikes with U-Turn, what differs between the models?
Possibly 07/08 Manitou Gold Label II's, any opinions? I'm drifting this way...

Or maybe I just ask to much from fork manufacturers.

Now, for new Hubsets:

Axles: Must be 20mm front Bolt-up 10mm rear. NO QR.
Bearing type: Sealed
Weight: Reasonably light, im not hard on my gear at all.
Rear Cassette: 9spd.
Disc Mounts: Standard 6-bolt or Centrelock, I dont mind.
Budget: Mid Range. No DaBomb (too heavy) and no Profile (to costly)

I'm changing from DT Swiss Onyx, because I can no longer run QR without my hub pivoting in my horizontal dropouts. even hella tight and chain tensioners.

Does Woodman still make hubs? they used to be nice...

I need help guys. I had my eye on woodman hubs, but i dont know if they are still imported into Aus. Also considering those Manitou Gold Labels...

All help is much appreciated.

Mikey.

how much are you willing to pay? are you willing to buy from overseas?

forks
I would personally go the pikes for what you want as the Manitou just doesnt seem to compare.

hubs
The hope pro 2's seem to be the "in thing" currently and are fairly bomb proof from what I have herd(while still being light), but unless your willing to buy from overseas online shops(such as cnc) you will be looking at spending a fair bit of $$

Pikes and Pro2s

I had a similar decision a while ago, came down to that. Although i went with DeeMaxes.

08 Marz Crowns are NOT pinch bolt. That was 07. Just to clarify.

Cheers,

I've got Pikes and I say get em... They're brilliant! The Hope Pro II wheelset is on order as well, only thing to look out for is make sure you run a cassette with an alloy sprocket carrier otherwise you'll trash the aluminium cassette body.

Ive had pikes over a year now and havnt had any issues with them... with some of the hack style riding i did learning random stuff... i was suprised they didnt die... The adjustablility is amazing and they feel great... And like everyone else i have a pro 2 on the way, cant go wrong.
