I agree mate. I really appreciate the effort that the people here put into the photos that they take, and they deserve praise.
But they're not up there with the photos that Timbo and Pebble have posted for example (one of which is now my new desktop wallpaper)

Maybe there's a thread for those who want to share photos that they've taken or photos of themselves. Or maybe start one.
But I don't believe this thread is it.
To trawl through pages of photos to only find a few totally outstanding ones (especially when people reply with the photos) wears thin.
