Yep looks like a Continental tyre would scrape!!!!!Due to the taller profile.....

All other tyres in the mud would definitely cake up around the arch.
Unless your running Kenda Karma's or similar skinnies

Perhaps it is functional. It may help shed the mud before it builds up on the chainstay/Front Derailleur. Then again, it could just be shite design. Time will tell.

my mamasita has similar clearances. mud just builds up at the seatstay arch and the wheel starts binding (with a 2.2 race king).

I've never had any mud buildup problems on my mamasita - with 2.1" tyres though. I did Capital Punishment too... I agree the stays look very similar.

I know one Canberra shop has ordered one of these. Delivery not too far away. Australian Distributor has apparently ordered 40 of these frames, a massive order for a boutique brand.
