Does it bother anyone that the sister thread to this one LTIH has nearly twice as many posts? Anyway thought I would follow the trend of some and post both but as the loves far outweigh the hates here they are (sorry about the word count...):

LTIL business trips to Japan
H the tedium of travelling 27 hours to our regional office despite being up the front of the bus (have to arrange a stopover en route in future)
L morning walks in the crisp cold mornings of a place that actually has a winter
H the fact that it stays cold all f'n day and I only have a summer suit
L catching up with colleagues I have worked with over too many years
H the hangovers
L the food and the Asahi superdry premium
H the hangovers
L Asahi superdry premium
H the hangovers
L playing golf at private country clubs in Japan - it's like golf with a happy ending. Almost. Watch out for the communal bath!
H starting golf at 06:00 when it is still 2C and then it snows while you are playing. Doesn't God realise golf balls are white too?
L playing like tiger woods for 9 holes
H playing like Joe hacker for the rest. And putting like IBF for 18. Sorry Ian.
L rewriting Caddie sans notes on best ways to play a few holes
H still putting like crap
L sculling 500ml of Asahi superdry premium between holes before playing the last par 5
H thumping 6 (yes 6) drives out of bounds trying to reach the last (and thus all) par 5 in two shots Does a birdie without the penalties count? Couldn't have been the beer surely?
L wasting a day wandering the street of Yokohama and realising that despite the proximity to Tokyo not much has changed in 20 years
H not being able to find the birthday present I needed for next month. Crap!
L flying upper deck on an A380
H arriving in Singapore at 03:30 and having to stay at the terminal because only the casino and other dodgy places were open for the next 6 hours
L Asahi superdry premium and I am not even a beer drinker!
H inability to get Asahi superdry premium in Oz
L getting home

Many, many Scotches
Better than the real thing.

That's not saying much, though.
Awa' and shite!

Best live act I've seen in ages and a hell of a lot more innovative than the whole David Guetta/Calvin Harris style cheese and Dubstep-lite that seems to be ruling dance music at the moment.

Their music is god awful, but their performance is excellent because they're such fruiters.

I'm with you on the hatred of generic electro and 'omg dubstep'. I had an awful time at future. I got reminded of why I hate generic mainstream dance music and the people associated with it. No imagination, none of them.

This is why I stick to hard dance.

Off to see the Trailer Park Boys at the Enmore tomorrow night!:very_drunk:
Been a fan for so many years I am jumping out of my skin, do you think I could get a t-shirt there for a gram of hash and a few bottles? Or will the suit dummies at the door not let me in?
If anyone of you Farkers are going I'll be the guy up the back singing 'liquor and whores' at the top of his lungs. Sunnyvale for life.

There are three guys i ride with, that go to my school. One of which (Like me) is very fond of rotorburn. The teacher in charge of all the website blocking (also a MTB'er) told us today, that rotorburn had been visited (by my mate and I) 58,000 times on the schoo network ............. Now thats a solid effort!
