Yup, saw it on Sunday afternoon, best MTB race coverage I've seen. I'm inspired, but I suspect it's a bit beyond me unfortunately.

Great coverage for the event. Best TV package for MTB I have ever seen.

Though VicDH series this year looked good too on SBS.

Agreed, great vid, it really makes you want to do this event. I have but one gripe. Why do these videos only ever focus on the elite riders? 90% of the riders who do this event are non-elite. Without them there would be no ride/race. So, how about next year the video makers pay lip service to the elite and concentrate on the middle of the pack riders and their journeys?

yes that would make a very interesting story, because without us average folk the elites would just be average... i think.

I can attest to it being a great event. Well organised and a great variety of trails/tracks.

Definitely doing it again next year. It is quite a family orientated event too. We hired a house for 4 adults and 3 kids. THe wives and kids went out in the mornings and collected us at lunch time from each stage. We then had the afternoons off to visit wineries etc. So even my wife agreed it was a great holiday.
