There's really nothing about the content of this music video that isn't a stereotype of hiphop - blunts, malt liquor and loitering on street corners - but the combination of the melancholy of the beat and the 16mm filming makes it pretty incredible.

Well I just made a compilation of about 30 old school tracks (Mos Def, Mike Jones, MF Doom etc etc) only to find you can only post one track at a time. I'll just post some tracks one by one haha.

Quality posts. Cheers for reminding me to listen to the ecstatic again. I played it like crazy when it dropped but completely forgot about it after a HDD crash destroyed my music library a couple of years back.
