Just a little taste of what to expect if you are coming over to the SA round.

Round 1 trails

We had a build day/recce on Saturday at the Glenworth Valley trails:

- flat/slightly downhill fireroad to start
- lap around a big green paddock (this will be one of the best spots for photographers) with a short pinch at the end
- enter the DH track - fast and pedally at the top and then you descent very quickly. This is were we will need to do more work on (will announce a build day soon). B-line will be to hop off your bike and run as there is only 1 way down and it will test your skills!
- the bottom flattens out again onto open forest and onto a downhill firetrail where you will sprint to the finish line.

From there you will ride about 2-3km to the shuttle pickup on a (mostly) flat road.

Mt Buller Vic round update

After running the Victorian round of the Elevation Gravity Enduro Series at Mt Buller, we believe trying to run four stages in one day at Mt Buller is logistically impossible, especially if there was a first aid incident or major delay, so we have changed the format from shuttles all day sat and racing sunday, to practice then two stages saturday, then same again sunday.

This is mainly due to the complexity in getting first aid teams and injured riders in and also out of the courses, moving track marshals and timing set ups and staff to multiple locations, and also due to the pure length of some of the stages.

More up to date info will be posted shortly on our web site at www.alpinegravity.net on the Australian Gravity Enduro Series page.

Thanks to all the trailbuilders who helped us on Saturday - we got a truckload of work done and all the track needs now is wheels on it.
After the test-rides we identified 2 corners which are probably too tight and need to be widened.

Overall it's a very testing track. We expect fastest times around the 7-8 minute mark.

The downhill section through tight corners and rock-shutes will test even the best riders. Unfortunately due to the terrain we don't have a lot of B-lines so we expect some riders to hop of and run a few short sections.

Looking forward to being amazed by line-choice of the guns.

On another note: check out this passionate interview with Sebastien from Deubel
