Looking at the headtube and guessing the age of the bike...and its kashima...., I just feel pretty sure its a tapered...and i have a billion dollars too much that needs a new home anyway :behindsofa:

These things may be true but it's worth asking the question. A straight steerer will go into that bike. Why you posting in a 29r related thread anyway?

Its my secret shame (I run a 29" for on one of my 26" bikes.
Apologies for trying to help though. I know a straight steerer fork will fit, I just assumed it was a given, and thought the seller did also.

Edit: and its a straight 1 1/8 in a 44mm head tube. As you were, sorry
