Dropper post - Thoughts on KS Lev,? Any better options?

Hi all,
Looking for a dropper post for a specialised stumpy, there are so many options and all of them have many conflicting reviews. Currently considering a KS lev because i cant do internal routing. Does anyone have any ideas on better options or thoughts on KS?

That's a ford v Holden, Shimano v sram question.
Except both cars are shit and Shimano is better. There's a gigantic thread on droppers here. Most people will agree that KS is a ton better and infinitely more reliable.....and that the reverb shit themselves regularly...but some will still swear by them.
Read the thread, buy the KS

Shortest thread ever. Please just buy the KS. I've owned about 4 Reverbs including the current one as well and would pick the KS Lev every time. If you can get a southpaw lever for it, even better.

Been using a KS LEV since late 2013. It was serviced once after 2 years of solid, daily use.
Been going strong since.

Buy it!

i'm interested too.....never had issues with reverbs, but a new frame has me looking at a different diameter.....as I don't want to shim the 30.9 reverb...so considering something different...a Lev or Bike Yoke? maybe

160mm is my main incentive and total length is as short or shorter as a 150mm ks Lev.

If you go KS, get the cheaper "SI" version which is only $350 and basically the same apart from being ~50g heavier and having a plastic rather than alloy remote (you'd want to use a Spesh or Wolf Tooth lever anyway). Can't beat that sort of quality for the price.

This might be controversial, but I've been very impressed with the Crank Bros highline. Build quality seems great but obviously no long term testing yet. Going cheap on the Germans

Plenty of long term testing on CB posts...long term time in pieces or in the post back to place of purchase.

Anyone know if there's any advantages over the KS or any experiences?

I never seen a Bikeyoke in real life and only ridden on 3 KS posts.
Bike Yoke is a non IFP design, which is claimed to handle the dreaded Aeration of oil and randomly percolating air into the wrong chamber of death ... coupled with their air bleed valve the combination should be solid. Note, I haven't spent any time on one.

I read somewhere this weekend that the 175 KS LEV Integra is shorter overall then all its equivalent competitors with more travel. But that was the 9.8 170 and reverb 170 so maybe not the 160 Revive.

Can't remember if it was on Bike Radar or MBR or SingleTrack
