Advertising wheels: please note

A quick tip to everyone out there looking to post up wheels or wheel parts for sale in this forum:

PLEASE SPECIFY WHETHER THE ITEM IS FRONT OR REAR.

There are a lot of threads advertising wheels and hubs, without pictures and without any indication of whether the wheel is front or rear, let alone the details of hub spacing or axle size.

Give all the details you can, the more buyers know about your item the better your chance of a sale!

Put the major specs in the title: rim size, front or rear, 20mm or QR, SS or geared.

I cant be bothered looking through every post to find a 24" SS rear wheel, as there arent that many out there.

When your item is sold, change the original post title to Sold. Placing another post within the thread with sold in it doesn't work and the script that the admins run won't pick it up. To do this you need to edit the original post, go advanced, delete the entire thread title, add Sold as the new title and then press the save button. These instructions are also part of the trading request directions you would of read and agreed to for your trading access.
