Managed to round the head on my Maxle by assuming my hex key was inserted far enough, when it wasn't.

Question is; How the fck do i get this out now?

Have you tried to force a slightly larger (perhaps imperial) hex in there? I've made that work before on other people's bikes. Just keep the pressure even when you commence unwinding the axle.

Haven't tried anything yet, but that was one of the suggestions. Will wait for the replacement to arrive before I fck the current one royally.

Tip 1 - "wrap chain around sprocket" seems to make no sense. If you've got a chain breaker and a broken chain why not just fix the chain? Even if shorter, just stay out of the big cogs.

Last couple of rides on the 29er, I've been wondering why it's been clunking and carrying on so much. I've been in a bit of an anxious head space lately, so that led to some catastrophic thinking: "Oh no, it's fucked, it's about to fall apart, I can't afford to fix or replace it, oh no oh no..."

Then today I had a thought - what if the clutch isn't on? I checked, and sure enough...

Crap, is that my fastest time still...? It was a fecken fast bike... But - if I’d dropped $9K on a spesh epic World Cup something (as opposed to specialised demo day) I’d want it to be warp speed too...
