Last noob question. Is the Polygon Siskiu T8 worth it over the T7?

@Coopz do you have some fresh flesh yet?

I bought a T8, the bikes pretty good, only ridden it twice around the block, the brakes needed some attention, barely worked out of the box.

Also had some major problems with Bicycles online and their billing system. Happy with the bike but not the customer service.

Easy there tiger...those guys are a site sponsor! We wouldn't want to upset them. Don't feel alone about that lacking service. I have spent a sizeable chunk of coin with them over the years, always been pleased with the process. Then a more recent purchase involved a lot of hiccups and their position was like it or send it back, we don't care otherwise.

Anyway you've scored good on the value for money, so maybe you're still in a spending daze and we should go easy on you? But I'm more of a rod of iron kind of guy...where's the fucking photos????????????? Show us the porn!!!!

Well done getting the new rig.

Or save some money and just get better tyres for cheaper with Michelin Wild Enduros from CRC.
What I really wanna try is those DH22's Sir Hill is running but i dunno how much longer I can hold out on this Magic Mary/Hand Dampf Performance compound that came stock on the meta am 29 (they're a hard compound, so they're wearing so slowly!!!), rear is very vague and the front is good enough, but not exceptional, really missing my DHF/DHR2 3C combo.

Do the Michelin's Wild Enduro's really perform better than the Minion's?

If tyres are affecting your confidence then just change them out. I still use DHR2 on the back and love it but found that the DHF would hit a point when trying to corner where it would become vague and slip out. The Wild Enduro on front is slower rolling but with no vagueness.

Nine times out of ten you'll need to bed the new brakes in. It's rare to get a bike out of the box and the brakes will bite straight away. Best method to bed them in is to roll around the street getting the brakes hot them spray cold clean water on the pads. This cools the pad material that then bonds to the rotor surface and creates a special friendship where they bite into each other. Of course this can eventually happen just riding along but this process speeds it up.
Now, in regards to the Bicycles Online customer service, can you please enlighten me as to what you weren't satisfied with? I find them outstanding and always recommend them very highly and am surprised to hear otherwise.
Nice ride!
