After falling just 68km shy of 4,000 last year including plenty of road k's I'm pretty happy with this year given it was virtually all MTB.

My plan was to ride 6,000 for the year but was not to be
Was looking at my data the other day and realised I was close to 5,000, 4,921 so went for broke tonight as it was my only chance to ride and punched out 80k’s at the You Yangs.
Pretty pleased with the result but now tired and don’t know how much work I’ll get done tomorrow, work is important but riding is importanter

Thanks, when the alarm went off at 5:45 this morning I had second thoughts about my decision

was happy to see 40km elevation on strava over 139 hours and 2007 km. Not that far but all the short mt Eliza loops during the 5km lockdown helped with the climbing stat.
Have never aimed before, so will try for 4000kms in 2021, time to ride work at least once a week

@Scotty T just reminded me about this. I think I said something crazy like 5000km at the beginning of the year, I think I'll go for 3000km next year and work my way up.

Was aiming for 1000km this year fell short at 946km but it’s the most I have done in years. Nothing like the k’s done above. Will aim for a 1000 next year and if I hit it will extend to 1500.

I’ve aimed for 3000 last few years and only made it finally last year. For a fair proportion of this year some bloke called Dan said I shouldn’t go to the pub and should exercise instead, so I hit 3 in November. Much to my surprise I’m pretty close to 4 now and still got a couple of days to give it a nudge. Off for a spin

After a chunk of injuries in 2020, I only managed 2200km with 50,000 climbing...and nearly 1/2 that was in the last 6 weeks.
2021 let’s aim for 4000km with 80,000m climbing if I don’t bust my hump again.
