So the spacing on SRAM owned forks is specific to SRAM owned brakes, one of those bullshit proprietary things like trek and specialized love doing. It is really shit! You just need the right adapted to get around it. Yours is the one that goes with all the other forks (fox, manitou, Marzocchi, xfusion, and so on). The physical difference is small, but you won't get maximum brake pad to rotor contact with that adaptor.
There is no specific Rockshox or Fox adapter, it's just an adaptor made for a standard post mount.

Ive had a few close calls and want a bit more protection. Ride a lot on my own.

Why can't we sell bikes with pedals? I understand seats as they can be so personal - but pedals are easily replaced and when I get a new bike I buy new pedals for the shiny every time. - I mean hey gimme 12k for this second hand bike but you cant have the pedals as they have sentimental value to me.
