The QUICK question thread.....

Thanks for all the bananas
I just discovered that the outer pin on each side of my right pedal (Nukeproof Sam Hill Horizon Pro) have disappeared, maybe this is why I feel like my foot is not feeling secure?

It's $22 for a set of new pins which seems ridiculous just for two pins.

Can I use pedal pins from another brand?

Yup those be the ones.

Nukeproof don't mention lengths but I guess M4 hex head 10mm might do the trick?
Depends on the pedal thickness. Some of mine are fine with 8mm, others 10mm. Also depends on where they are missing from. Often longer ones on leading edges than middle.

Some will be screwed in from other side, some will screw into body. You’re overthinking it.
Yup it's ok, they unscrew from the top, the hollow bit being the hex key head :D

They seem to be 7mm long which is a bit chunty as I can only get 6mm or 8mm grub screws. Hey ho!

I seem to be building a collection of bike stuff. Now I have to figure out a way of organising it..
Get mum on the job! Small parts organisers are great for all the bits you collect - spare bolts, stem spacers, grip lock rings, brake adapters... And pedal pins!
