Ima hold you to that...Yeah, crank the bolt up, check it before you go out each ride. If the knocking gets worse, keep an eye on it. Not likely to get a catastrophic failure.

Pffttt, do you even bike stuff? In other news, my wife just told me off for having too much bike stuff in the car port!
Do I get a club badge?

Pftttttt.....if'n it's not on an oven, the rest of thos details dunna matter.
Look again, Gum Boi.....You forgot your sig rookie. Are you actually just typing this everytime you post??
Did you use the correct amount ot spacers on the BB?Took the chain off to isolate the cranks and it is indeed the crankset that's the cause of the bumping feeling! The 8mm hex bolt was a bit loose but even with tightening it was still bumping a bit.
If I spin the crank arms 180 degrees then push down on both arms, I feel the bump (how the fuck do you describe a really short movement?). Spin again and rest, same bump.
I wonder if the bearing pre-loader could do with some tightening? Other than that or using the seatpost breaker to really tighten up the cranks, I'm out of ideas.
Sometimes hard without a fat chunt standing on the pedals, fit and ride different set of pedals around the yard, see if its still there.Don't lean on the pedals to check crank play...
I know, these are rookie numbers...I assume that’s after you put 95% away?
Ssshhh….he will be asking for dating app suggestions next!New wife AND bike time
You need to show her some real bike spaces! I'm pretty sure mine would have me committed if she came home and saw so little bike stuff in the garage...In other news, my wife just told me off for having too much bike stuff in the car port!

WTF - Does that Isoflex thing on the Procalibre have bearings in it?
Yep. I'm really not sure why either.WTF - Does that Isoflex thing on the Procalibre have bearings in it?
They act a pivot for the seatpost don't they? Similar to the Kingpin on the Cannondale TopstoneYep. I'm really not sure why either.
It was more using a bearing on something with such a miniscule amount of rotation that had me surprised. I would've expected IGUS bushings or somesuch...They act a pivot for the seatpost don't they? Similar to the Kingpin on the Cannondale Topstone

True. I hear it works pretty well though for such a simple system. It was more using a bearing on something with such a miniscule amount of rotation that had me surprised. I would've expected IGUS bushings or somesuch...
@Cardy George says it's got so much seat post movement he doesn't even need a dropper.True. I hear it works pretty well though for such a simple system.
Kinda, sorta, but no. The flex point is actually down at the seat tube/bb junction, so up where the bearings are it doesn't pivot so much as slide. The rest of the frame is rigid. My guess is the little black tube bears weight and rotates inside the seat tube as it flexes and the bearings allow that more easily. They act a pivot for the seatpost don't they?
