Sram initially said there was nothing wrong but the LBS pushed them because the clutch was clearly too weak. They replaced it and I promptly sold it. Back to my bastard Shimano set up Deore 10spd shifter, Zee mech and 9spd XT cassette. Much happier and quieter.

Went for a windy but sunny ride to collect the boy from school, then to town for an appointment. On the way home we came across a young kid struggling to get his back wheel on. Mr 6 said "it's ok, my Mum is a bike mechanic!"
So we helped him prise apart his brake pistons to get the wheel back in. He was really grateful and took off doing a wheelie.
