Is the lug on the B link firmly up against the notch in the hanger?

Looks like the B link needs to be rotated back a bit. The pin should rest behind that little point on the hanger. It should look like this if mounted properly.

Does anyone have a set of lightly used or new triple rings they would be happy to flog off cheap? I'm putting together a cheapo mtb for the old man. They need to be the usual 104 64 four bolt pattern. I'd prefer to keep it under $50. Cheers Dave
