This youtube vid show one in action certainly moves some soil in a hurry, you still need to clean up the upper side with an excavator but make for quick building

SNORC guys would be more than happy to get together as would the guys from Trail Care ( Manly Dam).
It would not hurt to get all groups together say twice a year to swap notes etc
Having spent time with IMBA over Easter marking out trails they donot need to be boring just well made. It also seems that the big events are mainly privately run with no ownership or alliance to the trails. Fee for use rather than spent hours crafting trails for the love of it. Maybe a bond...
As a newly formed non racing (at this stage) club in Sydney we have been working local councils to gain access to land to build trails. Over Easter IMBA oz and US help us mark out trails in our local area paid for by council. Council is still awaiting the final report on these proposed trails...

Great track hopefully next year more single track climbs
Loose the fire trail from the bottom to the pearly gates much rather ride single track, looking at the photos posted and seeing the number of people walking their bike says it all
