    29+ 1 x SET Up / Tire Clearance - advice please

    I have a 30t wolftooth NW on my krampus, with shimano zee crank and 1 driveside spacer...I have about 5-6mm clearance between chain and tyre in granny gear. It's 1x10...not that it should make a difference.

    There's also a nice trail network in Uffington State Forest (also known as Columbey NP) at Clarence Town. That's only15-20min away from Patterson.

    XC Trails near Thornton and Beresfield

    Keep in mind that this is private property, so it's probably a good idea to avoid some of the trails nearer the houses...apparently some of the residents are not too pleased with us riders making their dogs bark :mmph: My source for this is an employee of the mine nearby.

    K Lite/SP dynamo hub I've just got one of those for my bikepacking trips...I've got a prototype so not the 'finished' product but it's still pretty damn good. There is some concern about drag, but you're able to switch between having 850lm and 500lm...less drag at 500. But TBH i don't...
