I've only just started riding on the dirt too, on flats at the moment and really feel i miss the feeling of some sort of foot retention. however I can see a few stacks early on if I do go clipless...

Cheers guys will get out on the weekend and have a look! I'm pretty lucky anyway, live 5-8 mins ride from Hans Loop and my GF's place is probably about the same to Chandler HWY bridge to the BLVD etc, so close to both boat houses and all the land around those parts.

massive noob questions, easiest point to access the trails/tracks around this area. just purchased a bike a looking for more places to ride and this is close to me...

First mountain bike (propper mtn bike excluding when i was 14) purchased on Sunday. 2014 Specialized Crave decided i wanted SS 29er and glad I did, have been out twice, once along yarra trails around ivanhoe, heidelberg etc and once at Candlebark park hans loop. so much fun.
