So the brakes I have just taken off the Trek EXE, are in fact SLX four pots, despite what the spec sheets told me.
They are brand new, never been touched. Got a brand new pair of rotors too if anyone is interested? Both are 203mm six bolt.
Might be a fair bit more brand new stuff available...
I might have a brand new set of four pot SLX brakes and rotors up for grabs soon. Just about to strip a brand new Trek Fuel EXE 9.7 of most its parts. Or are they M6100’s…I forget?
I like Mapdec and some of the little videos they do. I like them because they know how good Time bikes are and I own one.

As a bike mechanic of over 25 years and having worked in shops in the UK, the USA and now here in Australia, there is a flip side to a lot of the bike shop bashing going on here.
1. Shops have overheads...your garage doesn't.
2. Mechanics get payed very little....even the good ones
