Yes it is a great place to live. We moved here from Balikpapan in January. I spend a bit of time on Sumbawa Island for work, so it made sense to move here:) Will be building a villa near the beach on Sumbawa later this year also.
The Pinion kit I had to wait for as I ordered late last year, but it wasn't released to the general public until mid January this year. Is easy enough to get hold of now through the link above.
I got a couple of different length belts (113t & 115t) through Bike Knack in Qld. I built the frame...
I haven't got a cable on the dropper at present Beeb..but is 40mm of suspension built into the post through an air spring. All my riding is on tarmac at the moment, so it seems to be working ok. Have only just put it on today. Tried the Ti seat post but was a bit hard for a 56 yr old back.

Hi Beeb..yeah the battery not that big..but a bit too big for my downtube. Bit of an oversight. Pinion didn't have the printed battery box ready when I got the kit sent
Hi All..been a while since I've been on here. Just brought my second pinion Ti hardtail from Australia up to Indo. Loving the SmartShift and the slightly different geo.
Has anyone had experience with this outfit? I'm thinking about getting a proper bike fitting to see if I can get a bit more comfy.

Pretty heavy if the Valeo Effigear is anything to go by.
The Valeo/Effigear Smart e-Bike System features seven gears with a range of 450% and a whopping 130 Nm of maximum torque. Total weight of the 48 V motor comes to 4.9 kg, which means that the gearbox part of the system adds about 2 kg to...
I had a 2013 V40 2.0 straight 5 cyl for a couple of years, would probably still have it if it wasn't so low to get into. Shared the same chassis and some of the running gear as the performance Ford Focus of the time. Drove like it was on rails.
