Yeah nice. I can’t really find the specific anti-squat value on the frame. It subjectively feels fairly efficient. Just thinking about that long road climb and trying to enjoy the ride down rather than being completely gassed by the top. If a climb switch helps in any way I may as well look into it
Yeah I’ve noticed that, on rockier ascents I tend to leave it open for that reason . The local ‘loop’ involves a very long road climb to get to the trials which makes the switch appealing
I’ve always had air shocks over coil because of the ease of adjustment and because most have some form of lockout for climbing.
Lately I’ve noticed a number of coil shocks from Fox, Cane creek and the like are coming equipped with what looks like a lockout lever.

With how well the Aether decends, the Aeris must be a beast! I’m slightly tempted to throw a bigger, more adjustable fork and a coil shock at this and build a shorter travel enduro bike. Can’t quite justify it to myself though.
