Warringah Council is seeking comment on the draft Forestville Park Plan of Management. The management actions in the plan include bush regeneration, pest control, track consolidation, boundary delineation and improved signage.
The draft ‘Mountain Biking in Warringah: Research and Directions’ paper and the draft Forestville Park POM (prepared by Warringah Council) allow for the retention of two mountain bike trails within Forestville Park – one being a fire trail and the other being an informal track. The draft Plan is not allowing for any further creation of mountain bike tracks.
The draft Plan of Management will be on public exhibition from 30 April to 10 June 2012 and can be viewed at the following locations:
Comments can be in writing, addressed to the General Manager, marked ‘Submission – draft Forestville Park Plan of Management’ or emailed to council@warringah.nsw.gov.au.
