Cannondale sizing

Hi guys, saw an xl c/dale prophet for sale. I have previously had a prophet in medium that was to small.
I am around 180cms or 5'11ish and was wondering if it.would be a sensible bike size for me.
Are cannondale bikes known to be short along the top tube or really stretched out
My body is pretty much in proportion.
Please help if you have ridden an xl prophet and what height you.are, thanks for any help

Can’t comment on the prophets but rode a cannondale hard tail years ago. I’m pretty much the same height/proportions and was definitely a large back then.

No comment on Crack'n'fails, but when I want to buy a bike I'll look at the geomtery for it on line and compare with something else I've ridden. If it's within what I consider a reasonable variation of my current/previous ride it'll do.

I suspect an XL MTB frame would be too large for 180cm though. I comfortably ride an XL road frame, but have found XL too big in MTB at 181cm.
