I ran that combo, you will fine.. The nic got sliced up but held air. Top up your sealant..Uh oh, I'm only running a nobby nic and a hans dampf, maybe I'll just ride the carpark

I usually run a Hans Dampf (super gravity) up front and a Minion SS DD on rear. No problems at all at Bright so far! And Tkdbboy's video really doesn't do Grave digger justice; it's a lot steeper in real life@Kerplunk I will have to run want I brung. I assume the closest LBS is at Albury / Wodonga ?
A man of impeccable taste. I always hit Down DJ at least once on the way up to Hero. The Up DJ climb is good enough to do twiceI'd spend loads of time on Up DJ and Down DJ. Super fun trails.
Just riding it, great to know there are a couple of lbss in townYou'll be fine for tyres. I don't find Bright too demanding on rubber. But as mentioned above there's two bike shops in town.
Are you doing shuttles or just riding it?
Duh, brain fade, it came to me… that’s 50% wrong. We were on Nic’s and Ron’s and no issues but wouldn’t be hitting it like you youngies.
I hope it does, it’s been a trusty beast. At Hotham I cracked a chain stay and I was able to source a new one. But this time the yoke on the shock has a carked thread, and I wasn’t able to source a new one. But I picked up a Bike Yoke off MTBDirect and the correct sized DT Swiss shock off Andy at CyclingDeal, and fitted them up the other night. The shock bushings are not compatible with the frame or the Bike Yoke, so Scott at Total Rush is hoping to source some for me. If he succeeds, the stumpy lives. Will the stumpy live to see another day @Lazmo
I smell another "help me choose a bike..." thread coming...I hope it does, it’s been a trusty beast. At Hotham I cracked a chain stay and I was able to source a new one. But it's pretty tired, and a bit like Dad's axe, everything's been replaced over and over, so I’m starting to look for a new (to me) bike… something, in 27.5 / ~140mm travel / Large. Not sure what to buy?
