What does your day look like?

Look at you presuming genders like you're the Pope himself! Outrageous audacity. Shit like this is what has been holding us oppressed non-descript groups back for thousands of years.
Damn, I saw that line and tripped over it, made a bigger mess than a Trump media conference when Stormy comes up on topic.

Apologies to the Girls Generation human. Mighty fine motorbike I must say just for the sticker kit alone.

You monster. You're practically Trump and Putin. Maybe their love child.

Let's hope it was IVF between them two. The alternative is wrong in so many ways.

Last one for the day. Now in Taichung mid way down the coast.

The 2018 Jazz Festival is on today. I can appreciate that it is packed solid on a school night. The usual metric tonne of assorted awesome street food is there.

GEAR day at Lakeside, weather isnt that great but was very interesting...

Quite a few new attendees but what caught my eyes and ears were two E types and a 3800.

The Blue e type was a full restoration with the only change from factory a 3.8L alloy block. The 3800 was set up as a racing saloon with a 3.8L and the hard top, well, there is a story. Apologies for the long winded drivel to come.

The E type was never intended as a racing car but the mid engined successor to the D type was delayed so the E type got the nod.

Jaguar were keen to have success at Le Mans and their skunk works came up with a light weight streamliner. The body was a couple shell but with changes that came out of a wind tunnel. Full aluminium body and aluminium engine block kept the weight down and bought another 20mph on Mulsanne straight. 11 (I believe) were made. They werent successful having to compete with the mighty Ferrari 260 GTO.

The gold car in the pics to follow has been hand made to those specs with some updates like itb instead of weber carburettors. The car was a basket case E type coupe restored to what you see here.

And a few more...

I will admit to having no idea about this E type variant and the guy who did the build was passionate about his work and rightly so.

Body built as per original, 12,894,911 rivets!

Better profile than the factory coupe to me

4.2L engine, look at the size of the exhaust primaries!

Workmanship was stunning. Replica period magnesium wheels in aluminium alloy.

And the M had to slum it next to a Bentley

Up a drainpipe?
For poodles.

There was Testarossa there too, not racing. A blue one. My least favourite Ferrari. I was duped into giving my opinion while having a coffee at the pitstop cafe. Owner was at the table next to us... anyway the redhead is slower, not as quick etc etc but it is 20 years older.

The F40 didnt make it. There was a Posche 914 and 800 minis.

Love a quick mini! And that e-type streamliner is something amazing.

I went to the Baskerville Historics a few weeks back.
There was a fantastic turn out. One of the sweetest Escort Mexico's you'll ever see too.
But the one that stole the show was Jason White smashing the lap record in a McLaren M8F.
About 900hp and about 800kgs I'm told. Absolutely phenomenal car. The whole pits headed for the fences each time it was on track.

@stirk yes, no headaches for me so really just a minor inconvenience, however I have let them go too long without seeing a doctor and ended up having to go to day surgery to have it chopped out. Again only a minor procedure but would prefer to avoid.

Oh crap, I'll have had my sty for two weeks this Tuesday and never see a doctor for them but normally they go away after one week. How long was too long for you and how bad did it get for you to chop it out?
