Holden's pfftt always been a Ford man but hell I really liked Peter perfect, only time I went to Bathurst he smashed the last lap waving his arm out the window across the top.
Everyone else seem to be at 10/10ths and he just seemed to be doing it so easy.

Yeah I always thought Jim was the benchmark for speed, control and consistency.
... in any car.
These days he doesn't threaten the Targa Tasmania podium, but there was a time when Barry and Jim utterly dominated TT year after year.
Very different format to circuit racing, but I think it showed how good he is /was.
That and his speed on two wheels. All round good driver.
