What does your day look like?

Illegal turbo was on the Celica IIRC.
Yes, I thought that was the Celica. Oops. Still one of my favourite rally cars.

When I was interred in WA I followed the WRC around Perth/Collie. I love it. Hence my comment thebother day about being passed by CMc. As a corollary to that storybI was fuelling up at my local and the area Sergeant strolled up and said that McRae is a great driver isnt he. I obviously agreed. He then said yes I heard he wss able to pass you on a gravel road. There may have been some history...

Sure is, was a surprise to see it at service park actually. I'm not sure if it'll run or if its part of Toyota's presence here but it'd be cool to see it getting flicked around.
I am astounded at the constant lack of interest for this event. I love motor racing but circuit racing just has too much of a monopoly on people. Rally is amazing and I can't understand why people aren't here getting behind it. We've had it since 2011 and the numbers are fudged each year saying how many people come to town.
I travel the world watching motor racing and having it at home is an amazing thing. Sing out if anyone is keen for next year here, I'll show ya a thing or two. ;)
I'm assuming, but I reckon it would something along the typically Aussie line of 'too effen hard to get to mate'.

Will only get worse as the love of driving fades with the next generation of kiddies.

Geez I'm sounding old lately

If you guys can get to a GEAR day, even for a few hours, the passion is strong for real cars, not some scripted silhouette racers which are hobbled by rules to give close racing.

My 'Uncle' rebuilt this Tiga-Mazda from the early 80s

He's having trouble keeping engines together (typical 12a rotary :p) but he's having a blast.

I'd love to have a steer, but I need some race licence or some crap.

Can you come in early and set up for this function? I guess so...I'm just going to surf porn and whack off between now and start time, see you in 10. And work from 2-1145 like a $2 hooker.

Just arrived for a weekend’s riding at Falls Creek although it’s going to be hard to top the drive up!

The weather yesterday was nothing short of perfect hey. Roped wifey into a quick shuttle when we got here too. Just to make sure flowtown was still fun. Cos, you know, it might not be.

And it's hard work waking up to this...

It’s a bloody gorgeous day here in Canberra, perfect riding weather. The bikes are both in fine fettle. I have a new camelbak to christen on the Trance, and some silly 4 piston brakes on the roadie need bedding in.

And yet most of my day is spent in bed feeling like death and coughing my lungs up. Boring...

Eat more fruit and veggies, you’re always sick o_O

I went to the temple (aka the mall) to get some more training shorts. Stupid idea. Place is horrible at best of times, but on Sat is full of groups of annoying teenagers that I just want to clip across the ears for the stupid way they wear their hats....
