Needed an extra bike for the kids to ride to the ice cream shop and had a few good parts spare so decided to knock together another build.

The frame is interesting. 27.5 wheels with tapered steerer but 135qr rear wheel and IS brake mounts were a bit of a struggle.

Cost around $800 to build not including the forks and a few other small things. Microshift drivetrain was overkill but was seriously the easiest to tune groupo I've ever fitted. 2 turns of the barrel adjuster and done. Bike will need cranks though as i had to steal some off the STP to complete it.

Frame - Brand X HT-01 small
Front fork - Suntour Aion 140mm
Handlebars - Brand X (cut to 670)
Stem - Brand X (60mm)
Headset - Brand X
Grips - some old cheap ones i had
Saddle - another old part i had lying about
Seatpost - as above
Front brake - SRAM Level T
Rear brake - SRAM Level T
Cranks - borrowed from the STP for now
Chainguide - has mounts but not fitted
Chain - shimano HG something
Pedals - some cheap plastic ones
Rear derailleur - Microshift Advent X
Rear shifter - Microshift Advent X
Cassette - Microshift 11-48
Wheelset - Shimano MT500
Tyres - some old ones from the parts bin
Tubes - yes, tyres too old for conversion.
Total weight - unsure but guessing 13kgs

Have one in the shed waiting for the next boy to grow into it. I ran it with 26" wheels last time it was built up and 155mm cranks.
Here is the pic of when it was last in one piece lined up against mine

good bargain frame imo, think i like about it as angle @74 is steeper than most other cheap frames who stik to 73ish
