What levers did you end up using? I found the m785 to be too wooden feeling, but the zee levers are perfection. I wonder what some of the newer levers are like, I understand they have a similar push ratio to the old Zee's?

Thanks mate. I’ll likely grab a couple next week but let me know when I can swing by for the other gear and I’ll let you know if I still need one.

I ended up following your lead and grabbed the zee levers. I only have the one ride on them but they feel great. Given my fuckwit moment, I tried to keep braking smooth and didn’t reef on them for ultimate power so I’m yet to feel the full force. I really like the solid feel and shorter deadstroke though

Shock got stuck down because negative chamber equaliser was blocked up. Have to pull shock back to full extension to release air and unblock it. Hydraulic jack specialist

Another little vid, reinforces one of the most enjoyable part of MTBing to me at least, tight corner changes of direction. I love the dynamics of a bicycle, MTBs especially. Is there anything better than flicking from left to right & back again?

Back into lockdown meant it’s the perfect time to fire up the glass bbq and give the post some lovin. Although it took longer to replace the internal cabling than it did to service the post.

It’s fine. 1000’s of km’s left in that bad boy clearly.

I just need some new grips and a 30T chainring and the bike is rideable again albeit with a 11-36T cassette which I definitely want to replace with an 11-42T at least. I have a new KMCX10 chain and the brakes are still excellent. I might even have a go at a ghetto tubeless setup
