I've found it hard recently working by myself for the past 15 year without any work colleagues to talk to so forum life is my only outlet, and this manifests in manic bouts of randomness and 'banter' so I'm sorry that I annoyed some of you. So to help alleviate these feelings, I'm going to see if I can be more involved with my local MTB club via trail maintenance and maybe help with some marketing.
This would be hard. You seem like a good dude at heart. Hope you can find some good mates at the local MTB club. ...and that your next avatar can fly under the radar a little more stealthily.
As far as I'm concerned there's no issue with you being here if you can just dial back the "noise" a bit. Boredom and loneliness is a shitty thing.

Ok so I admit this is me. I let perceived slights get the better of me and suffered a breakdown as HamboCairns, asking Tubbsy then being directed to ask Dozer for my profile to be removed (I didn't ask for all my posts to be deleted btw).

Soon after, I realised I made a mistake and emailed Dozer via the forum's contact form to ask if I could come back. I didn't get a reply so this profile was an attempt at being someone new, boring and normal. It's just not me so I created hambonanas and made it obvious who I was. It wasn't my intention to run concurrent profiles, this one would have just stayed silent.

I accept what I did is against the rules and that this one will be banned too but I thought I'd use my last posting chance to say thank you for the laughs, support, advice (who knew riding more could be so beneficial!) and positive vibes that make me love mtb so much, oh and special thanks to everyone that sponsored me for the Great Cycle Challenge :)

No hard feelings and I hope the forum goes from strength to strength.

PS. I bought the Supacaz saddle ;)
Cute story etc etc. Had you of just taken some time away and found your feet again, all good. Setting up a new account though; make that two (2) accounts screams that you need more in your day than this forum. We’re good lads on here and always up to help out. Trying your shit on with three accounts though? That’s not sending signals to people you want to converse with that would want to trust you.
Rules are rules for a reason, has been the same here since it started.
How about we talk about something less boring than this?

Definitely should have gone to specsavers
So DunkinGherkins is a false prophet, who'd have thought.

Normally if you haven't been around for a few days you can just skip through to the most recent couple of posts in a thread and catch up on things. This thread really only makes sense as a start to finish affair - it's a fair effort to stay on topic for 11 pages, congrats all.

Happy to talk about something else @Dozer - can you tell us who else has requested their account be deleted recently? ;)

I did. Kids born then bitten by the black dog. Was a solid 5-6 years. I’m still trying to catch my post count up.
Your facts are getting in the way of a good story.
I think you couldn't sit in front of a computer until those bruises from the well known photo cleared up.
